Description:
The overall objectives of the assignment for the individual Climate Change and Green Growth Specialist are to develop the framework for the implementation of climate change management strategies on the project to include Mitigation and Adaptation strategies. Ensure the efficient implementation of climate adaptation measures on the project following the climate risk & vulnerability screening and devise appropriate mitigation measures to ensure the project is resilient to climate change impacts Draft and review ToRs, technical project documents/deliverables and assist in the evaluation of proposals to ensure climate change requirements are considered. Provide support for the coordination, planning, development and implementation of all climate change activities on the Project. Provide technical expertise and support with the calculation of gross and net GHG emissions on the project as well as develop systems for monitoring, reporting and verification of GHG emissions (MRV).
