Description:
The objective of the combined RAP and Environmental and Social Compliance Audit is to assess the level of compliance of the project with the applicable E&S requirements. For E&S compliance, the audit will focus specifically on assessing the extent of compliance with the provisions of the financial agreement, including national legislations, regulations and procedures, the Bank’s environmental and social requirements and international industry best practices (IIBP) of the project’s sector. For the RAP Audit, the objective is to assess the adherence of the implementation of the RAP to what was approved and the level of compliance with the applicable E&S requirements of the AfDB and the Government of Gambia. The audit will identify non-compliance, good practices and deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions. The same is also expected for the FRAP audit assessment.
