- The United Nations Agencies in The Gambia are committed to supporting staff well-being and work-life balance in alignment with the UN System-s duty-of-care principles. To this end, the UN Country Team intends to establish a shared crèche facility within the UN Building in Cape Point, Bakau, to provide safe, high-quality childcare for the UN House staff dependents, infants and toddlers, aged six (6) months to two (2) years.The proposed crèche will serve as a childcare space that promotes early stimulation, health, safety, and development, while providing working parents with peace of mind. To this end, we are inviting requests for proposals for the design and equipping of the creche facility. The selected firm will be responsible for the full design, furnishing, and equipping of the crèche, ensuring it meets both functional and aesthetic requirements suitable for the developmental needs of young children.
